C18. 2 storey. Half red brick, and half vitreous brick with red dressings and
window surrounds. Brick dentil cornice. Old tile roof. 4 windows with panels
between on lst floor. 5 windows on ground floor and early C19 good 6-panel double
door in deep panelled reveal, with small modern nood. A long wing at back has
a large central lst floor arched window facing east, with reeded side frame and
fluted band round the arch.
The Crown Hotel and Nos 8 to 11 (consec) form a group.
