Chapel. Dual date plaque in gable, edged with laurel leaves. Brierfield/
AD 1861/Wesleyan Chapel in bold relief. Ashlar. Blue slate roof. Symmetrical
gable front with dentilled pediment. Quoim in relief. Rusticated lower portion
with semi-circular arch-headed window with large, reticulated keystone either
side of 2 central doors with semi-circular heads and decorated keystones. 6-
fielded panel doors with fanlight. 3 Tuscan pilasters surmounted by triglyph
frieze and dentilled cornice. 4 windows with segmental heads. Cornice above
each window supported by ornamented consoles. All windows have margin glazing.
Plain frieze at eaves.
