2. Early C18 house altered mid C19 as 2 dwellings. 3 storeys stucco faced with rusticated flanking strips, 2nd floor sill course. Low pitched gable end slate roof with shallow eaves band. 3 windows to 2nd floor, recessed sashes, 2 with glazing bars intact. 4 windows to 1st floor grouped as pairs in camber headed eared architrave surrounds with keystones. On ground floor - one similar window to right and mid C19 3 light pilaster framed shop window and door with frieze and cornice over to left hand. In centre original entrance with door of 6 fielded panels in Gibbs surround with pediment over. Interior of No 21 has exposed beams in kitchen, one supported by turned post. Wooden partition. Panelling in front room partly covered over.
All the listed buildings om the South Side from nos 21 to 31 (odd) including Trinity house, form a group.
