GV II
House, c1830, red brick with ashlar dressings, slate low-pitched
valley roof, coped gables and end stacks. Two storeys with ashlar
flush quoins, moulded cornice and parapet. Three-window range of
16-pane sashes in flush surrounds and centre door in ashlar
enclosed porch with thin pilasters, cornice and parapet. Six-
panel door with traceried overlight. Porch may be later addition.
Parallel rear range and L-plan coach-house and stable range behind.
Prominently sited at west end of High Street. Deeds are said to
go back to c1715.
