C16 timber framed cottage. 2 storeys, 2 windows on entrance front, with long
projecting modern right wing, in keeping with old house. High pitched tiled
roof. Tile hung 1st floor, brick ground floor. Small modern leaded casements.
Modern Dutch door with side lights under pent porch. Massive projecting left
end chimney of rubble masonry with red brick dressings and rebuilt shaft. Some
modern back extensions and a low-swept roof with 2 modern gabled dormers. Inside
much exposed timber. Tongued chamfered beams on both floors.
