Description

1.
5280 SEVENOAKS WEALD RIVERHILL

Riverhill House
TQ 55 SW 46/1142

II

2.
Large mansion of several dates. The original house of early C19, 2 storeys,
5 windows. Coursed rubble masonry with flint galletting. Extra storey in random
rubble, and 3-storey porch projection added circa 1830. Shortly afterwards
a slightly projecting 2-storey left extension added, in yellow brick. Roofs
fairly low pitched, hipped, of Welsh slate. Windows sashes, mostly with bars
removed. Large, late C19 projecting right extension; and another extension of
similar date to left rear. These extensions add nothing to the character of
the house and are in poor condition. Balustraded terraces along south front.
