Terrace of 11 houses. c1843-9. Built by W Broder, altered.
Yellow stock brick with rusticated stucco ground floor and
plain 1st floor sill band. 3 storeys and basements. 2 windows
each. Nos 34 and 42 slightly recessed. Square-headed doorways
with pilaster-jambs carrying entablature-heads; fanlights and
panelled doors. Architraved sash windows; 1st floors with
pediments and cast-iron balconies. Nos 34 & 42, 1st floor
square-headed sashes in round-arched, architraved surrounds;
2nd floor round-arched architraved sashes (No.34 with margin
lights). Nos 28-32, 38 & 44 with parapets, Nos 34 & 42,
cornices and blocking courses, others cut back cornices.
INTERIORS: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached cast-iron railings with
tasselled spearhead finials to areas.
