Burnell (Wynkborne, county of Nottingham, Heralds Visitations of 1569 and 1614). Per fesse indented or and argent a lion rampant sable within a bordure gules charged with eight bezants. Crest: A lions gamb sable holding a bunch of violets proper. (Burkes General Armory). (Photo Aug 2015).
