House and cottage. Late C17 with C19 alterations. Coursed squared gritstone
with quoins, moulded kneelers, coped gables, centre ashlar ridge stacks, Welsh
and stone slates and concrete tiles. 'L' plan. Two storeys and attics, four
bays, with east bay lower than main range, and without copings. Main range:
2-light C18 flush mullioned windows refashioned in C19, 2-light flush mullioned
gable dormers to attics, all with C19 sashes and casements. Blocked single
light opening above central doorway which has quoined surround, massive lintel,
and double panelled doors with upper panels glazed. Two storey stair tower
with stone slated roof and single storey extensions to rear. Lower single bay,
with stacked C18 flush-mullioned windows housing sashes and casements, and
doorway with massive lintel, quoins, and C20 glazed door.
