- to 'Dower House'

Gate piers. Late C17. Gritstone piers, square in plan, with carved motifs,
including grotesque masks, foliage, cartouches, guttae and serpents, and
surmounted by square moulded caps. The piers are attached to a boundary wall of
massive ashlar gritstone and rubble limestone with shallow hogsback copings.
