Lighthouse. 1887. By HD Arnott. For the Port and Haven
Commissioners. Red brick laid in header bond. Circular plan
tapering as it rises. Plank door on the east side under a hood
on label stops. 3 centre-hung iron windows to east and west
sides under hoods on labels. Under the gallery are 3 more
centre-hung iron windows. Gallery supported on scrolled iron
brackets. Glazed lamp stage under a conical metal hood.
INTERIOR: concrete winder staircase.
