GV II

House. Early C19 with earlier origins. Rendered limestone
rubble, ashlar plinth and dressings, brick right-hand gable
stack and double Roman tile roof. Single-depth plan.
2 storeys, cellar and attic; 3-window range to street. Blocked
left-hand doorway, formerly with round-arched head, stone
mullion cellar window, 3 first-floor windows, the middle one
blocked, and 2 ground-floor windows; all with 8/8-pane sashes.
1-window gable has an attic casement, similar sash and 3-light
canted bay. C18 and early C19 former outbuilding to rear, of
similar materials and now incorporated into house. INTERIOR
not inspected. Possibly rebuilt over an early C18 cellar; see
No.12 (qv).
