Masonic hall. c1830. Stucco over brick with stone dressings.
Welsh slate roof. Greek Revival style, with massive pedimented
front. Low ground floor divided into 4 bays by pilasters, with
central door, and a further door to right, matched by a blind
recess to left. Upper storey also divided into 4 bays with
pilasters, with two 18-pane sash windows, and low-relief
laurel wreaths in the stucco. Stone pediment over. Side
elevation of 7 bays, with 18-pane sash windows with
flat-arched gauged brick heads. Now forms part of The Music
Hall, The Square (qv).
