Shops with offices over. Early-mid C19. Coursed sandstone with ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof.
EXTERIOR: three storeys, six-window range wrapped around corner of Matlock Street and King Street. Two plate-glass shop fronts to Matlock Street with central pier and recessed doorway on left. First floor: sill band links tall 6/6 sashes in raised surrounds. Second floor: projecting sills and raised surrounds to short 3/3 sashes. Curved corner bay on right has disused corner entrance beneath windows as front. Eaves band and cornice. Gable copings and ashlar end stack with band to left; roof sweeps round over corner bay.
King Street facade: shop windows flank an original doorway with panelled and part-glazed C19 door having overlight with radial glazing bars and moulded stone cornice on consoles. Upper floor details as front.
