Dam walls. Early C18 and late C18, restored 1989. Coursed
squared stone with slab coping. Serpentine plan. On the north
side, adjoining the mill, the coping is extended to form a
pathway with C19 iron handrail, leading to the Manager's house
(qv). To west, an uncoped wall approx 50m long, with 2
sluices, between the millrace and the millpond.
The coped wall adjoining the mill and extending to the
manager's house was previously listed on 28/06/73; the uncoped
wall to west is a new listing.
