House. C16 and early C19. Coursed rubble and brick plus timber
framing with brick nogging. Hipped and gabled slate roofs. 2
external side wall and single rear wall and ridge stacks. 2
storeys, 3 bays. Windows are mainly glazing bar sashes.
Openings have segmental heads. C19 south front has central door
with fanlight, flanked by single sashes. Above, 3 sashes, the
central one smallest. North range is a C16 timber framed hall
house with 2 storey wings, recased and refenestrated C17 and C19.
Rear elevation has 2 bays of timber framing with arch braces. To
left, gabled single storey lean-to outbuilding. To right, a
sash. To right again, C19 single storey outbuilding with sash
flanked by single doors. Above, a casement and a Yorkshire sash.
North-east end has a C20 casement on each floor and door to
Fight. South-west end has to left, single storey outbuilding, and
to its right, hipped rear wing with C20 French window, and above,
a Yorkshire sash. To right again, gabled stair turret with door
in return angle and above, a sash. Main block has, above, a
sash.
