Detached cottage. Probably C18. Local lias stone cut and squared; clay pantiled roof between stepped coped gab1es;
brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays. 3-light horizontal bar casements of early pattern, excluding bay 1 which
is 2-light cross glazed, lower windows have exposed timber lintols to lower bay 2 a C20 boarded door with covermoulds
in plain opening with timber lintols; over which is a square label. Interior not seen. One of a variety of cottages in
stone sett paved pedestrian way leading to Church of St Barnabas (qv) and the nearest to it on south side: remainder
form very attractive group, but not of special interest.
