Chest tomb. Mid C19, designer unknown. Stone. Rectangular
stepped base with early C18 style tomb; S-profile sides carved
with sinuous bass-relief acanthus leaves and poppy heads
(symbols of the sleep of death), and inscriptions. Long sides
with rectangular inscription plaques. Curved lid forming
segmental pediments at ends with carved crossed palms; smaller
cross-lid segmental pediments to long sides with carved
enrichment. Lid surmounted by an enriched circular finial on a
square base.
