House. Late C18, with rear block dated 1862, possibly incorporating remains
of an earlier building; some C20 alterations. Brick in Flemish bond with
hipped tile roof. Two storeys, three bays. Windows are boxed sashes with
glazing bars and have gauged brick heads with keystones. Those on the ground
floor now have sliding louvred shutters. The door is of six panels and has a
Doric pilaster doorcase with triglyphs and an open pediment. The fanlight
has intersecting glazing bars. Brick dentil course at eaves. End chimneys.
At the rear is a parallel range dated 1862, and altered mid-C20, which
possibly incorporates part of an earlier building. Interior: stair has
stick balusters and turned newels.
