House. C16 or earlier. Timber framed. Chequered red and grey brick
to ground floor, exposed framing with plaster infilling to first
floor. 4 timber-framed bays, that to right of centre slightly longer.
12 storeys, on stone plinth. Exposed principal posts and staves, with
tension brace to each end. Roof hipped to left, half-hipped to right.
Multiple brick ridge stack towards left end of right central bay.
2 gabled eaves dormers. C20 ground-floor fenestration. Blocked
door under stack. Short rear wing to right in similar materials, with
half-hipped roof and lower eaves. Half-glazed door in C20 lean-to
extension to left. Interior not inspected.
