GV II

District National Parish School, now Sunday School. Dated 1832. Hammer-
dressed stone, stone slate roof. Single storey. Gothic Revival style.
Gable-on to road has 3 lancet windows with hoodmould with foliated carved
stops. Corner pilasters. Coped gable with kneelers. Left-hand return has
plinth and 7 bays of windows under stepped continuous hoodmould. Central
bay has pointed-arched window with chamfered surround flanked by shields
bearing date. Other bays have Tudor-arched windows with chamfered surrounds.
Corbel table in shape of shields. Right-hand return: as left-hand return,
the shields in the central bay carved with heraldic motifs surmounted by
crowns and the 1st and 6th bays with Tudor-arched doorways.
