Monumental tombstone in the form of a gabled shrine, to Mr William Brookes, died 1869. Signed by J.Forsyth. Limestone and granite, with inset bosses of marble. East end gable terminates in a Celtic cross; west end has a tall crocketed finial over arched inscription panel set between colonnettes. Inscription:' In memory of Mr William Brookes, formerly of Mark Lane, London, Born 30th November 1789; died 2nd November 1869. Also of Mrs Elizabeth L.A. Brookes. Buried at St Bride's Fleet Street, wife of the above. Born 6th March 1787; died 15th March 1852.' Heritage
