House or barn, formerly house and shop, now house. C17, with C19 facade
and addition. Timber framed. Front red brick in Flemish bond to left of
stack, red and grey brick to right. Rear weatherboarded on ground floor,
rendered above. Plain tile roof. Two C17 timber-framed bays to left of
stack, one C19 brick bay to right. 2 storeys. Roof hipped to left. Brick
gable end stacks, and ridge stack to right of centre. Irregular fenestration
of three 2-light casements with segmental heads: one to each end of left
section and one to centre of right. Boarded door with segmental head to
centre of left section. Red brick lean-to to left with boarded door and
bricked-in shop front to front, and with multipane window , horizontally-
sliding sash and ribbed door to left gable end. Interior: jowled posts and
some exposed framing. Included for group value.
