Gate Lodge. Early C19. Stuccoed brick with slate roof. Square, with shallow
projection along rear wall, stopping short of gable ends, and not internally
subdivided. Single storey on stuccoed plinth. Plat band continued from window
imposts. Rusticated quoins. Flat panelled eaves soffits. Pyramidal roof.
Round-headed window opening in round-headed recess to centre of rear projection
and front wall. Panelled door with semicircular fanlight, in round-headed recess
to centre of right gable end. Spear-headed iron railings and gate-pier panel
towards front of right gable end. Interior: moulded cornice. C19 iron grate.
