NORTHGATE STREET (South West Side)

C18. Two storeys. Moulded band at lst floor level. Stone tile roof. Five irregularly spaced windows with architrave frames on first floor. On ground floor No 4 has outer six-panel door in architrave surround, with radiating arched fanlight - one window adjoining - shop window - yard door, the latter in the centre of the building. To right hand - No 5 has four-light shop window framed with fluted pilasters and entablature. The shop window of No 4 was formerly of eight x four panes but has now been modernised.

Nos 1 to 18 (consec) and all the listed buildings on the South West Side of Market Place form a group.
