Cottage. Probably C17. Cary stone rubble; thatched roof with plain gables; brick end and intermediate chimney stacks.
Single storey with attic, 6 bays irregular fenestration. Mostly horizontal bar casement windows, but with some steel
casements, under exposed timber lintels; bays 1, 3, 5 and 6 have attic windows set into thatch; plain door between bays
4 and S. Inside, scroll stop chamfer beams, collar truss roof; good fireplace in West gable wall, with chamfered deep
timber beam, ovens and possibly first floor bacon curing chamber. Possibly site of former watermill.
