Summerhouse, about 70 metres East of Hadspen House

Summerhouse. Probably C18. Red brick, flemish bond, with Doulting stone dressings; plain gabled double Roman clay tile
roof replacing thatch; brick end chimney stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Below a 2-light architraved window with internal
vertical bars and diagonal leaded lights, with iron casement and external stay; to right a heavy frame with boarded
door, and Welsh slated pitched roof hood on wood brackets; between these a Sun fire insurance plaque; 2 architraved
single light windows to first floor. Part of good C18 group.
