Description

Shop and dwelling. c.1840. Gault brick with slate parapeted roof and brick end stacks. 3
storeys; 2-window range of 3\6 over 6\6 unhomed sashes. Stucco architraves to 1st floor.
Ground floor has finely detailed stucco shopfront with door to centre right. Left end has
part-glazed door in round-arched doorway with fanlight and further 6\6 sashes.
Round-arched top landing window. Further 6\6 sashes, 2-light casements and blocked or
blind windows to rear. INTERIOR. Ground floor has marble fireplace with cast-iron grate,
and upper floors reported as retaining marble fireplaces, skirtings, and plaster cornices. The
stairwell has a glazed domed light which slightly projects above the rear roof line.
