Part of a range of C18 brick cottages, now painted, Nos 35 and 37 have
been much altered in the c20. Nos 39 and 41 (Stage Coach Restaurant)
were used as a staging post until about 1845. An C18 painted coaching
sign was discovered on the front, 1st storey, and has been restored it
reads:- "Lynn, Cambridge and Stage Waggons to the Bull Inn Bishopsgate
Street everyday. Isaac March and william Swan proprietors". 2 storeys,
5 window range overall. Nos 39 and 41 has double-hung sashes with glazing
bars on the 1st storey and a late C18 or early C19 shop front on the
ground storey. Roof tiled with a brick dentil eaves course. Nos 35
and 37 have been renovated in the C20 and have C20 metal casement windows,
and a C20 interlocking tile roof.
