House, now 2 houses. Early C19 refronting of C17 house. Coursed limestone
rubble; front of random bond brick on irregular stone ashlar plinth. Gabled
stone slate roof, with concrete tiles to rear; brick ridge and end stacks.
3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Flat brick arch over C20 door
to left; flat brick arch and wrought-iron brackets to support flat hood over C19
half-glazed door to right of centre. Similar arches over early C19 eight-pane
sashes and late C19 two-light casements above. Two late C19 gabled roof dormers.
Outshut with Welsh slate roof and early C19 outbuilding with stone slate roof to
rear. Interior of No.6: C17 quartered beams and C17 stop-chamfered post to
right; early C19 collar-truss roof with cambered collars. No.6 formerly part of
brewhouse complex which extended to rear. No.4 not inspected. Included for group
value.
