House. Early C17. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; rendered
and brick right end stack. One-unit plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Timber
lintel over C20 door to left. Ogee-stopped and finely-carved wood lintels over
early C17 four-light ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned window on ground floor and
over two C20 windows above. Similar carved lintels to rear. C20 rear extension.
Interior: early C19 four-panelled doors. Chamfered and roll-stopped beam and
fine early C17 moulded stone fireplace with sunk spandrels. Similar beam and
carved lintels to No.50 Oxford Street (q.v.).
