6/18 Moor Court Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Possibly late C17 with C18 extension. Painted sand-
stone rubble and timber-frame with pantiled roof and brick stacks, that to
east external with sandstone base. Three structural bays aligned roughly
east/west. Two storeys and attic. South elevation has one window, late C20
with top vent, raised lower storey has similar windows either side of con-
temporary central entry at top of stairs rising from left, ledged mid-C19
door to right-hand side. West gable has one small 4-pane attic window to each
side of external stack. Interior has timber-framed cross walls, collar trusses
and stop-chamfers to ground floor ceiling beams. The east part of the building
is probably an extension (RCHM Vol I, p 33).
