Headstone; 1730; slate; rectangular stone with raised inscription, topped
with decorative band, slightly damaged, of stylistically carved angels.
Inscription reeds:-
"Here Lyeth the Body of John Pickwell Who Died )
Nov. the 20th 1730 ) in capitals
His Age 62 Year )
A husband kind a father dear,
The same-is he that lyeth here,
God gave him time for to repent,
And for his sins he did lament."
