Lodge with office accommodation. 1860 by James Simpson for Chelsea Waterworks Co in Italianate style. Built of stock brick with hipped slate roof. North west elevation has central projecting section with pediment contain clock face and three round-headed windows. Set back section to right has two round headed arches. To left is lean to canopy. South west front has nine round-headed windows. Tall narrow campanile tower of two stages which may have been built as a ventilation shaft to the steam railway tunnel which serves the coal store.
In 1995 the building became part of a hall of residence complex to Kingston University.
