Farmhouse. Mid to late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Stone rubble and some cob, facade rendered. Asbestos slate roofs with large stone rubble stacks with drips and weatherings to each gable end of main range and similar lateral stack to left side of rear kitchen wing. Symmetrical 2-room central stairhall plan to front range with near kitchen and dairy wing added probably in late C17 to rear left side forming overall L-shaped plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range. C20 fenstration. C19 gabled slated porch with shaped bargeboards. C19 fenestration survives to rear kitchen wing which has lean-to with corrugated iron roof to the left side.
Interior: C19 joinery principally intact including staircases. 2 principal rooms altered in C20. 4 probably original trusses to each range with side-pegged collars and X-apexes. No sign of smoke-blackening.
