5/187 Nos 12, 14 and 16

House, now 3 dwellings. Mid C18 with mid C19 alterations. Coursed rubble with
ashlar dressings. Stone slate roof, with ashlar coped gables with moulded kneelers.
2 pairs of stone gable stacks and a single tall back stack. Quoins. 2 storey plus
garrets. Garden front, has central doorway with part-glazed 6-panel door with
overlight, and moulded flat hood. Eitherside are single canted bay windows with
hipped roofs and 3 plain sashes each. Above a central plain sash, flanked by single
tripartite plain sashes all with plain ashlar surrounds. Eitherside a single storey
additions, each with a canted bay front, and hipped roof, that to the left with a
central glazed door and tall flanking windows, that to the right with a central
plank door and blocked sides. Street front, has 2-bay addition to left. Off-centre
doorway with overlight, to the right a 2-light mullion window with C20 casement and
to the left a small glazing bar window and beyond a large 3-light casement. Above a
small central plain sash flanked by pairs of sashes, those to the left with glazing
bars. Beyond to the left a 2-bay addition with a door with overlight and a single
casement with 2 casements above.
