4/37 Railway Viaduct


Railway Viaduct on L & NWR line, opened 1848. Rock faced stone
with dressed stone vaults. 16 arches on slender piers. Moulded
impost band. Large moulded ashlar base to parapet.

On east side is adjoining later viaduct not included in the item.
