Public house. Early C19. Restored 1984. Dressed stone and
coursed squared rubble. Hipped concrete tile roof. Plinth.
Single ridge and 2 gable stacks. 2 storeys, 5 bays wide by 5
bays deep. L-plan. Windows are glazing bar sashes, C19 and
C20. Main north front has to left, C20 addition with paired sash
and to its right, a single sash. To right again, a door and a
triple sash. Above, to left, 2 sashes. To their right, a stair
light, and to right again, 2 sashes. West front has to left 2
sashes. To their right, a casement. To right again, C20 lean-to
porch in return angle, with a pair of doors. To right again, 2
sashes. Above, to left, a blocked opening and to its right, a
plain sash. To right again, a sash and a casement. South gable
has a tiny window and above, 2 C20 casements. Large C20 addition
to east not of special interest.
