Public house to left, shop to right. Formerly a hall house with crosswings to rear. Early C16 or earlier origin with later alterations and additions. C18 facade. Timber framed, red plain tiled roof, 2 external left and central red brick chimney stacks. C18 brick facades, painted to The White Hart. Court yard and part weatherboarded crosswings and extensions to rear. 2 storeys, attics and cellars. Of 6 bays, the 3 to right, Wisteria House, slightly forward, left range formerly jettied. Parapet. Parapet band and central band to Wisteria House. 3:3 first floor small paned vertically sliding sashes, gauged brick arches. Central carriageway to The White Hart, pilasters with capitals and bases, frieze and flat canopy, left tripartite vertically sliding sash window, iron S tie plates over, right C19/C20 part glazed door with sidelights, fanlights over and fascia. 2 small paned vertically sliding sashes to Wisteria House, left and central doors, each with reveal panels, friezes, flat canopies on brackets, glazed doors with fanlights over, that to right with semi-circular glazing bars. Interior features include exposed ceiling beams and moulded and carved wall posts. The carriageway, formerly the hall, with moulded bridging and ceiling joists. RCHM 4.
