Regimental war memorial. 1903, resited with alterations late
C20. By John Dodsley Webster. Bronze and granite. 3 ogee
headed bronze panels, the larger central one with inscription
and regimental crest and with a finial in the form of the
regimental badge. The outer panels have cusped heads and
relief figures of soldiers. Below the panels, an inscribed
plinth, and above them a traceried crest. On either side, a
late C20 wall of granite setts. Originally in Church Street,
close to the Cathedral (qv).
