Shop and offices. 1902. By JWJ Barnes of Nottingham for
Charles Hibbert. Altered c1990. Brick with ashlar front and
slate roof. Renaissance Revival style. 3 storeys plus attics;
single bay. Windows are mainly original plain sashes divided
by pilasters. Arcaded ground floor with 2 granite Doric
columns and late C20 shopfront. Above, a segmental oriel
window, 2 storeys, 3-lights, topped with a balustraded
balcony. Above again, 3 windows under a cornice and a shaped
coped gable.
