Shop, now restaurant. Dated 1910, altered c1989. Brick with
ashlar front. Roof not visible behind parapet. Baroque Revival
style.
3 storeys plus attics; 5 window range. Windows are mainly
original wooden framed cross casements. Symmetrical front with
slightly projecting centre bay and modillion main cornice with
central segmental broken pediment. Arcaded ground floor with 4
granite columns and late C20 shopfront and fascia. First and
second floors have rusticated quoins to the centre bay and the
angles. Central window with concave-sided pediment, flanked by
windows with alternating triangular and segmental pediments.
Above again, 5 smaller windows, the central one enriched with
swags. Above the cornice, a round window with keystone flanked
by 2 square windows, under a coped parapet with central
pedestal.
