Pair of cottages. Dated 1734, but extensively altered
including raising in height in early C19. Brick with plain
tiled roof. 2 storeys, 4-window range. Symmetrically planned
with doorways flanked on inner sides by inserted single-light
windows, the main windows on their outer sides. 2-light
casement window with single ring segmental head to right, the
left-hand window inserted. Upper windows are 2-light casements
below dentilled eaves band. Datestone between upper windows
probably re-sited. Brickwork in lower parts of walls clearly
earlier, and traces of earlier roof line visible in gable
wall. End wall stacks.
