Town house, now offices, and attached railings. Mid C18,
altered mid C19 and mid C20. Red brick, with ashlar dressings
and slate and plain tile roofs with 2 capped gable stacks.
Plain coped parapet. 3 storeys plus basement; 4 window range
of C19 plain sashes. Second floor has 12-pane sashes. All
these windows have brick flat arches.
Outside, wrought-iron area railing on a rendered plinth. Area
roofed in. Late c19 doorway to left return.
INTERIOR has on the ground floor, to left, a fully panelled
room with cornice.
A plaque records that Lord Byron lived here, 1798-99.
