Boundary wall enclosing kitchen
garden wall at Wollaton Hall

GV II

Boundary wall and gateways. c1800. Red brick, with moulded
brick coping. Approx 2m high and 400m long. The wall runs from
the barn 100m south-east of Lodge I (qv) in a U-shaped curve
around the kitchen gardens, to join the main park wall north
east of them. On the south-west side, buttresses and a plank
door. On the south side, a pair of renewed square brick piers
and wrought-iron gates, C19.
