Farmhouse. C16 core, with many additions. Timber-frame and
plaster; plain tile roof; various brick stacks. T-shaped on
plan, with gable to roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range: C19 2-light
casement and, to left, C18 3-light casement, under
prentice-board; altered C18 casement under prentice-board, to
gable. C17 outshut with brick stack; C19 three-light casement
and C20 light; C20 door and overlight and C19 casement. Wing
to left with C18 3-light casement over C19 cross-window; C20
restored brick stack. Further wing with 1-, 2-, and 3-light
casements; massive rubble end stack with brick chimney.
Right returned side: two C19 casements; underbuilt jetty; tier
of later C19 mullion and transom windows, with C20 casement to
gable; C20 glazed doors, under C19(?) hood on wrought-iron
brackets. Further wing to rear with two C20 brick stacks;
brick infill; C18 2-light mullion window with leaded lights;
various casements.
Rear: brick outshut; tripartite window with C19 sashes (2/2:
6/6: 2/2). Sandstone rubble and brick outshut under hipped
Welsh slate roof to north wing.
