Houses (possibly former toll house and 2 cottages). c1869.
Brick; hipped Welsh slate roof; 3 brick ridge stacks. 3-, now
2-unit plan.
2 storeys; 3-window range: two 2-light casements with ogee
heads under brick ogee arches, and, to left, C20 cross-window;
scrolled and pierced eaves-board. Entrance to No.1:
6-fielded-panel door flanked by cross-windows with leaded
lights, in canted porch with hipped pentice roof and verandah
on stone columns. Entrance to No.2: C20 6-panel door and to
left, ogee-headed light with casement; to right, C20 restored
ogee-headed light, and blocked opening. Left returned side:
ogee-headed lights, to left with casement, to right with
leaded lights, over two C20 cross-windows; tablet dated 1869;
returned eaves detail.
