House, now shop and dwelling. Dated 1600. Timber-frame and
plaster; steep-pitched Welsh slate roof with twin-gables to
street; 2 stacks to rear.
3 storeys and attic; 2-window range: late C19 3-light
casements in simple architraves; jetty on scrolled brackets;
C20 3-light mullions with leaded lights; moulded bressumer on
scrolled brackets, to gables; two 3-light mullion casements
with leaded lights, over shallow jetty; spurred braces.
Symmetrical framing with small panels. Entrance to left: late
C19 plank door and plain overlight under modillioned wood hood
on scrolled consoles, and pilasters; late C19 shop front with
central half-glazed double doors and plain overlight, between
canted windows with moulded glazing bars; moulded fascia-board
and hood on plain pilasters. Rear: spurred brick axial stack;
pantiles; two C18 gable wings, to left with steep-pitched
roof, storey bands and 3/6 sash under segmental arch.
