Houses, now bank and shop. Late C18. Brick; steep-pitched
slate roof with stone and tile-coped gable parapets; 2
restored brick ridge stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 7-window range: 4 late C19
plain sashes and, to right, three 6/6 sashes in moulded cases,
under segmental arches and storey band, to 1st and 2nd floors;
pilastered parapet with moulded stone coping. Central paired
entrances; No.9: 6-moulded-panel door and overlight with
coloured glass; No.11: 6-fielded-panel door in panelled
reveals, under enriched panel; moulded stone flat hoods, with
coved pediment to No.9, on enriched consoles and attached
columns; to left, 3 late C19 plain sashes under segmental
arches and rendered storey band; to right, late C19 shop
front, with recessed half-glazed panelled doors to left;
window with moulded glazing shafts and clerestory lights;
enriched frieze to fascia-board and modillioned hood with
figurehead consoles on panelled pilasters.
INTERIORS not inspected, but No.11 noted as retaining
panelling, ceiling cornices, 2-panel doors, 6-panel door and
staircase to attic with turned balusters and moulded rail;
6-panel door flanked by C18 sashes, to rear.
