Includes: No.4 SCHOOL LANE.
Shop and dwelling. C15, with later alterations. Plaster with
painted framing; steep-pitched plain tile gable roof.
2 storeys; 2-window range: C19 3-light casements with
clerestory lights, in moulded cases; weathered carved and
scalloped barge-boards. C20 shop front with central entrance,
under slate pentice roof; jetty underbuilt in C18. Left
returned side (in School Lane): four C20 windows and leaded
light, between curved passing-braces over deep jetty on
massive joists and cusped brackets. Ground floor has various
brick panels; two C20 shop windows; C19 window with small
casement; C19 half-glazed door. INTERIOR not inspected.
No.4 School Lane was first listed on 09/02/73.
